Meet Alissa

My journey began in 2019, when I met my partner and we began dating. As our relationship deepened, unresolved trauma from my childhood and life experiences surfaced, revealing the unconscious and unhealthy patterns I had carried into relationships.

Together, we chose to "wake up" — to expand our self-awareness, deepen our somatic understanding, and transform the ways we related to our bodies. The path wasn’t linear; we stumbled, got lost, and faced low points more times than I can count. Yet, each challenge became part of a necessary unfolding — one that ultimately anchored me in a rock-solid commitment to growth.

Over the years, I became deeply curious about how unresolved trauma had kept me disconnected from my body, and what it would take to reclaim my somatic presence.

In 2022, my relationship with my body shifted even further when I was diagnosed with a complex pelvic issue. For over a year, I worked with a range of practitioners, mentors, and clinicians to restore a sense of safety within myself and reconnect with pleasure.

That journey is still unfolding. There were moments when I cursed the skies — God, the Universe, Creator — for the toll my pelvic dysfunction had taken on my relationship and wellbeing. Yet, in the depths of that frustration, I was invited into a profound inquiry about eroticism, sexuality, and embodiment.

This inquiry ultimately led me to the Institute of Somatic Sexology, where I studied under its founder, Deej. My time at the institute was a powerful reclamation — a deepening, an opening, and a homecoming to my own pleasure. In that moment, I knew this was the work I wanted to devote myself to: guiding others in unlocking their own potential for pleasure and supporting them in returning safely to their bodies.

Your curiosity about sex, eroticism, and pleasure matters. The relationship you have with these elements mirrors the relationship you have with yourself.

Pleasure awaits. Are you ready to explore?
